Assignments

*2026 Reading Assignments will be posted at least one week in advance of each class. 

Weekly assignments include:

1.  Reading materials: Reading materials for each class will be posted one week before the class start.

2. Weekly reflection:

   • A one-page reflection is due at the end of each week on Sunday, through the end of week 7. It is a free-style assignment. The write-up can be on any topic covered during that week. Email your written reflections to dstewart@pecva.org. 

   • In each reflection, please include your name and date at the top of the document. Regardless of the file type (Word, Google Doc), be sure the file name for your document is written this way: yourfirstname-yourlastname-week-number-subject-matter-of-reflection.

3. Weekly photography assignment: 

   • You'll need to submit two photos each week (along with your writing assignment) via email to fellowship@pecva.org. Please ensure the photos are "full resolution" and include a LOCATION and subject DESCRIPTION for each. 

4. Weekly survey:

   • Douglas will distribute a survey link each Friday to evaluate how the program is going for you. The link will also be posted in the Week's Assignments Tab (at the bottom). Please take the survey over the weekend and submit it before the beginning of the next week. This survey is anonymous; we appreciate constructive criticism. 

5. Other materials related to lectures:

   • Check for other assignments from your subject area lecturer or guest speaker
