The Piedmont Environmental Council (PEC) is very happy to welcome the Randal Fellowship Class of 2026! Below are a few guidelines to ensure the fellowship goes smoothly for all parties involved.
Fellows are expected to participate in all activities listed in the weekly schedules and show up on time! If you are unable to attend for any reason, please discuss the matter with Douglas, Randal Fellowship Coordinator. Tardiness and absences may result in deductions from the weekly stipend. Recordings of the classes are available, in case you miss a class. Here is the link to the 2026 class recordings.
Throughout the fellowship program, fellows should be prepared to actively participate each day, and are expected to complete assigned readings, activities, movies, etc. on the indicated date. Fellows will get out of the program what they put into it and are encouraged to keep an open mind and ask as many constructive questions as possible. PEC staff members and other participating organizations have spent a lot of time preparing the curriculum for fellows, and will greatly appreciate active participation during their segments. Engage! Use the resources at hand! Ask questions!
Fellows will receive a stipend of $325 per week.
Please keep in mind that fellows are representatives of PEC for the duration of the program. Please be respectful of others, yourself, and your working and living environment. Please be on time and willing to help out when needed. Misconduct and disrespect in and outside the workplace will not be tolerated. Fellows with serious or multiple infractions may be dismissed from the program.
If at any time fellows have a conflict or problem with another fellow, staff person or other fellowship affiliate, please talk to the Fellowship Coordinator as soon as possible. Douglas may be reached at (703) 407-2790 or dstewart@pecva.org.
